How in the world do the newly empowered in our Capitol think that they can get away with eliminating a program that is now helping millions of people?
They say they want to put a stop to the rise in the deficit and yet they want to kill a program that is said to decrease the deficit by $230 Billion within the next few years. They talk about “death panels” but the only “death panels” we have had have been the ones the insurance companies have given us when they refuse to authorize certain medical procedures, which have been proven to save lives.
Have you heard about the newly ensconced congressman who became irate when told he would have to wait three days before his new health care program kicked in? Does he understand how the millions of people who have no insurance and no prospect of ever getting insurance feel?
